Wonder Women Launch Event

6th Feb 2018 - 11:00am - 2:00pm

Hale Hall

100 years ago, some women broke through. The 1918 Representation of the People Act marked the first time that any women in the United Kingdom were able to vote. For the first time, MPs were elected by women as well as men.

Throughout 2018 Edge Hill University will celebrate the victory of those who campaigned for Votes for Women and will ask what more needs to be done to make sure that everyone can reach their potential and break through barriers.
