You are invited to attend the launch of Edge Hill University’s second annual Festival of Ideas.
This year’s Festival will explore themes of Identity and Belonging in a stimulating programme of debates, talks, films, exhibitions, roundtables and performances throughout the month of June 2017.
The launch will commence from 5:00pm with a drinks reception in the Arts Centre, followed by a speech from Professor George Talbot, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) and Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Following the launch, guests are invited to stay on to view a special screening of Terence Davies’ A Quiet Passion. Producers of A Quiet Passion, Roy Boulter and Sol Papadopoulos (Hurricane Films) will introduce the screening along with the Director of Edge Hill University’s Institute for Creative Enterprise (ICE), Professor Roger Shannon. Please note that tickets for A Quiet Passion are limited and must be booked in advance to guarantee your place.
