Science Under the Stars: Our Fragile Earth

24th Mar 2017, 4:00pm - 7:00pm

Faculty of Health and Social Care

A FREE festival of primary science to be held at Edge Hill University on Friday 24th March 2017, 4-7pm for children, families, trainees and teachers.

Jointly funded by ESERO and the University, we are building on the legacy of Tim Peake’s mission to educate and excite primary children about the wonders of our planet. This year’s theme is Our Fragile Earth, and we’ll be offering interactive stalls, activities and lectures all focused on helping children to understand our planet, its place in the Solar System and how to take care of it.  For teachers we offer a useful CPD opportunity to network with a range of local and national organisations…and of course to join in with the fun!

The festival has been endorsed by Children’s University who will be there on the night to validate passports with two credits – children should bring their passports with them.

No booking necessary.
