Stand-up Comedy

Headliner: Simon Bligh
Simon is one of the finest, and most sought after performers in the country. With a Time Out Comedy Award and Perrier Award nomination under his belt, Simon is in great demand. Aside from being a top compere at the world famous Comedy Store, he regularly delights audiences in places such as Dubai, Hong Kong, Thailand, America, Malaysia, Amsterdam, Germany, and France.

Support: Tony Cowards
Tony is a rapid-fire gag merchant with an arsenal full of one-liners. Something of a Twitter sensation, Tony’s jokes turn up in all sorts of places, from greetings cards to The Times newspaper. Even if you’ve never heard of him there’s a good chance that you’ll have laughed at one of his gags.

Support: John Lebbon
After a football tackle that went horribly wrong John spent four days in hospital and weeks in plaster. The road to recovery was long, painful, and dull. And that’s when he started thinking about writing comedy, because, as he recalls, “I was bored”.

Compere: Trevor Organ
Trevor Organ is the comic persona of performer Pete White from Leeds. Pete has become infamous on the festival circuit for his plate spinning act, Trevor Organ’s Cracking Crockery. A skilful send-up of a crusty pro entertainer, with great stories about his showbiz roots and family, mixed with truly exciting pocket stunts and comic inventions.
