NHS England: Celebrating the value & impact of Care Makers

This NHS England conference is a chance to celebrate the value of Care Makers and showcase some of the remarkable work that has been happening in the past three years, especially how Care Makers have championed the 6Cs to drive the quality agenda as part of their caring role.

The conference will bring together Care Makers, stakeholders, care providers, commissioners, regional and national teams as well as people who have benefitted from the programme. It will also be a great opportunity for networking and sharing learning with colleagues.

The final report of the evaluation of the Care Maker programme conducted by Edge Hill University for NHS England will be shared and the findings and recommendations will be discussed as part of the celebration.

Please find the report here:  Final report of An evaluation of NHS England’s Care Maker programme 27 Jan 16

All delegates will be offered the opportunity to become a ‘Dementia Friend’, an initiative championed by the Care Maker of the year Michelle Hudson
