Law graduates are invited to make vital industry connections and hear from two fellow Edge Hill alumni at the Law Alumni Association Networking Event.
The Law Alumni Association Networking Event will feature speakers sharing their practical knowledge of forging a career in the competitive Legal Profession, and will offer the opportunity for graduates to informally network with other alumni, lecturers and members of the University’s Law Advisory panel.
Guest speakers at the event will be Trainee Solicitor at Hill Dickinson LLP, Amie Coudis and Court Advocate at Ashley Taylors Legal, Daniel Radford. Amie is a first year trainee, currently on secondment as part of her first seat in Professional and Financial Risks and has over 3 years’ experience defending professional negligence claims. Daniel is a self-employed County Court advocate, currently working as an agent of Ashley Taylors Legal Ltd and plans to secure a pupillage in the near future, specialising in commercial and property law.
Adam Pendlebury, Senior Lecturer in Law said: “The Law Alumni Association Networking Event is a fantastic opportunity for alumni and current law students to receive practical advice from Edge Hill graduates and legal practitioners on pursuing a legal career. Networking events offer attendees the chance to make vital industry connections which are becoming more and more important in an increasingly competitive job market.”
