The Creative Writing department at Edge Hill University present Kevin Barry
A master storyteller and purveyor of dark humour, Kevin Barry is the author of the celtic dystopia, City of Bohane and two story collections. His second short collection, Dark Lies The Island, won the Edge Hill Short Story Prize in 2013. His many other awards include the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award; and the Sunday Times EFG Short Story Prize for Beer Trip to Llandudno.
Based in County Sligo in the west of Ireland, Kevin Barry makes a rare and a welcome return to these shores.
