Beauty of the Beast

Company Chameleon Dance Theatre present Beauty of the Beast

Beauty of the Beast is an exploration of masculinity and male group behaviour.

Inspired by observations and theories of identity – reference groups where men’s commitment to the group is so strong that affiliation to it is part of their identity; where pressure to conform to group norms is irresistible and inter-group rivalries can be highly competitive and hostile.

Commissioned by The Lowry, DanceXchange and Live at LICA

Tickets £10 / £8 concessions / £5 Edge Hill University students and school parties of 10 or more
