Retina Dance Comany present Layers of Skin at the Rose Theatre. 6 exhilarating performers + Van Huffel’s vigorous choreography = a never to be forgotton performance.

Layers of Skin starts from the idea of hiding. The three layers of our skin hiding our bones, organs and muscles.  It also hides who we are and what we think and desire. Retina Dance Company shed their layers to expose a full-bodied, fast-paced, and stimulating production. The six exhilarating performers execute the quirky intricacies of Van Huffel’s vigorous choreography with raw vitality.

Layers of Skin is a dynamic, constantly changing production, that will take its audience on a unique journey, stripping away the layers to discover the dancers internal motivations expressed through Retina’s powerful and expressive movement style.

Layers of Skin is a multilayered sensory experience never to be forgotten!

…its sheer physicality… will have you on the edge of your seat.” Ellie Carr -The List
