Student Finance 2012 – Overview and Q&A Session

14th Nov 2011, 10:30am - 12:00pm

Edge Hill University

Student Finance 2012 Overview and Question & Answer Panel

This event has been
organised by an Independent Taskforce on Student Finance Information which is
headed by Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert and has been convened to help
dispel the myths and misunderstanding about the 2012 changes.

Edge Hill is joining the
campaign in offering a Free Student Finance overview and Q&A session. The
session is free of charge and is aimed at school and college groups and will be
delivered by Janice Barnes, a member of the University’s Student Finance and
Welfare Rights team and the Company Secretary for the National Association of
Student Money Advisers (NASMA).

The aim of the campaign is
to ensure people understand how the new student finance package for 2012 works
before they make a decision as to whether they can afford to go to university
rather than basing their decision on headline fee levels.

To book onto this event please email educationliaison@edgehill.ac.uk or telephone 01695 584388

Please note that students are welcome to attend unaccompanied, but to
comply with the University’s safeguarding policy, bookings need to made by your
school or college and the Service Level Agreement must be signed and returned.

If you are unable to attend but still would like to raise the profile of
Student Finance 2012, you will find many resources including video guides,
lesson plans and hand out material at www.studentfinance2012.com
