If you want to discover how the Faculty of Health is enhancing the student learning experience through the intelligent use of technology, this event on Wednesday 25th May 2011 is for you.
Today’s higher education institutes face the challenge of integrating the diversity and sophistication of digital tools to enhance the learning experience. A student demand for technology to play a centre role in the acquisition of information is borne from the rapid adoption and increasing expectations of how social media, learner management systems, mobile and wireless technologies can make a difference to their learning.
The Faculty of Health’s Technology Enhanced Learning department, Learning Services, IT services and academic colleagues have worked effortless to meet the new student expectations, recognising the importance of deploying innovative, intelligent and integrated technologies within health care learning.
The event will take the format of a ‘walk and talk’ and is an opportunity to view digital assets, share ideas, network on new projects and promote best practice when using technology within education. Call into the Faculty of Health foyer any time from 9am-2pm on the day to discover how Edge Hill University is an innovative leader in technology enhanced learning.
