Edge Hill University will be represented at the Training and Development Agency for Schools’ Train to Teach event on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th March 2011 in Manchester.

This free event is the perfect opportunity to get your questions about a career in teaching answered. Throughout either day you’ll be able to:

  • Chat to Edge Hill University tutors and find out how we’ve been successfully training the teachers of tomorrow for more than 125 years and how we continue to offer the most up-to-date, well-informed and inspirational educational experience;
  • Find out about our innovative teacher training programmes preparing students for exciting and rewarding careers in Early Years, Primary, Key Stage 2/3, Secondary and Post-Compulsory education;
  • Attend presentations and speak to teaching experts to receive guidance on routes into teaching, the application process, training options and entry requirements;
  • Talk to current teachers to hear first-hand experiences of life in the classroom.

The event is taking place in the Garrett Suite at the Museum of Science and Industry – view directions. To reserve your place on either day visit www.tda.gov.uk/get-into-teaching/events.
