Studio Theatre

StopGAP present Trespass at the Studio Theatre.

Tickets £9.00 / £7.00 concessions.

StopGAP Dance Company is unique in the UK; it has dancers with physical and learning disabilities performing alongside dancers without disabilities. The Company is highly in demand and tours throughout the UK and all over the world.

With their years of experience working together as a company, StopGAP have devised an highly innovative way of dancing together – expect to see a wheelchair dancer tipping backwards with unbelievable grace, surrounded by a variety of stunning visual spectacles. By the end of the evening you will realise that these dancers have turned ‘disability’ into a real asset for creative expression, they will leave you astounded by their skill and subtlety.

Trespass is a double-bill that challenges StopGAP’s five resident dancers to
draw on their individual physicalities.

What estimable performers! The security and daring with which they move, and the emotional honesty they bring seems second nature” – The Times.

There is also a ‘curtain-raiser’ performance entitled Journey’s End by John Moores University Dance Students and participants from JUMP I(ntegrated) Dance.
