Informal Talk for Prospective Nursing and Midwifery Students

2nd Feb 2011, 2:00pm - 3:30pm

Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine

An informal talk for prospective nursing and midwifery students is being held on Wednesday 2nd February 2011 at the Ormskirk Campus, commencing promptly at 2pm.

Whether you wish to specialise in adult nursing, children’s nursing, mental health, learning disabilities or midwifery or you’re unsure of your preferred route, the informal talk is a great opportunity to find out more about our pre-registration courses that lead to registration as a qualified nurse or midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The talk will include a presentation followed by an informal question and answer session. You’ll also have the chance to see the stunning Ormskirk Campus and tour the £14 million Faculty of Health building.

Housing some of the best facilities for health undergraduates in the country, the faculty’s state-of-the-art learning resources are second to none, with leading edge clinical skills facilities including ward simulations with industry standard equipment.

If you’re interested in attending the informal talk and touring the Faculty of Health and Ormskirk Campus, please call 01695 650718 or email to book your place. See our Health Open Events page for alternative dates.
