An exhibition tracing the history of Edge Hill University was a fitting finale to the 125th anniversary celebrations and the newly-published history book.
The exhibition delves into each era of Edge Hill’s past and includes old photographs and other memorabilia spanning from across the decades.
From the early years in Liverpool through to the recent years of expansion and diversification at Ormskirk, the exhibition charts the story of one institution realising its vision, sometimes in challenging times. It is a tribute to the many staff, students and alumni who make up the unique Edge Hill University community.
Mark Flinn, curator of the exhibition, co-author of the new book and former Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, said: “Edge Hill has such a fascinating history that it is only fitting we publish the tales associated with the institution in its 125th year.”
