Public Debate: Balancing the Books: Public Policy, Financial Crisis and Human Rights

21st Jun 2010 - 12:00am

Wychwood Park Hotel, Crewe

The times ahead for local government and public services appear fraught with increasing difficulties, starkly brought into focus by recent announcements by all major political parties of cutbacks in public sector spending and the need to make drastic savings.

The Centre for Local Policy Studies invites you to one of the first post general election debates, bringing together key players and commentators on these important issues.

How to Book

The event is taking place on Monday 21st June 2010 at Wychwood Park Hotel in Crewe as part of the Centre for Local Policy Studies Summer School. The cost to attend the debate is £55 per person, although it is included free of charge if you purchase the full Summer School package (reduced rates available).
