Staff Research Development Conference 2010

This conference represents a key staff development event aimed at all staff interested in developing their research profile. The day will cover several topics including: research within the faculty of education, what is the Research Excellence Framework (REF), how to get published, how to develop a research career and how the faculty can support you. There will also be workshops from Faculty RNGs and the Faculty’s Research Centre, CLIS.

The full programme for the day is outlined below:

Session 1 Opening Keynotes

  • 9:50am-10:15am How big is the jigsaw puzzle and am I a piece of it? by Professor Martin Ashley, Head of Research (W1)
