Teaching Taster courses are aimed at individuals close to making a decision to apply for initial teacher training.

The 3 day programme is designed to enable you to reach a well informed decision about whether teaching is, or is not, a career you wish to pursue. The courses will include the chance to spend a day in school observing teachers in practice.

A teaching taster course in Secondary Priority Subjects is taking place at the Ormskirk Campus from 22nd-24th March 2010. This course is suitable for anyone interested in becoming a teacher at secondary level in one of the national shortage areas. This includes maths, science, RE, ICT, modern languages, music and design and technology.
