Chris Killen

22nd Oct 2009 - 7:30pm

Edge Hill University

Tickets £3.50 all.

Sharp, candid and mordantly funny, Chris Killen’s debut novel, The Bird Room (Canongate), is a love story with a twist. Tonight he’ll also be reading and talking about his short fiction, published in anthologies and e-zines including Brace, Flux and 3AM. In addition to his work on the page, Chris is well known for his prize-winning blog, Day of Moustaches. He was born in 1981, and lives in Manchester, where he runs ‘No Point in Not Being Friends’ a regular live literature event in the city centre.

The evening is hosted by the creative writing programme at Edge Hill. If you would like to know more about our courses, please contact the Enquiries Unit on 0800 195 5063.

This event will be held in the White Box Studio of the Performing Arts Centre.
