Whether you have just left school or college, are a healthcare assistant or are looking for a change in career – Operating Department Practice is a rewarding profession that involves working together with medical and nursing colleagues in the care of patients, before, during, and after surgery.
Have you got?
- Five GCSE passes (grade C or above), or NVQ Level 3 in Health, or equivalent. These must include English Language and Maths, or evidence of literacy and numeracy academic study at a minimum of Level 2, or;
- An Access to Higher Education qualification;
- Settled UK Residency Status.
If so, then we can offer you the opportunity to study at Edge Hill University in Manchester, to become a qualified, registered ODP practitioner. Come along and join us at this open evening at Gateway House to find out more about our three-year DipHE in Operating Department Practice. This is a 3 year NHS funded programme and you would receive a non-means tested Bursary of £6,531 per annum. Additional payments may be available, subject to means testing.
