Paramedic Practice Information Evening

29th Apr 2009, 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine

Would you like a career that is challenging, exciting and rewarding?

If so then the DipHE Paramedic Practice offered by Edge Hill University could be just the course for you. Starting in September 2009, the qualification has been developed in conjunction with the NorthWest Ambulance Service (NWAS).

The University will use its state-of-the-art clinical skills simulation facilities to provide realistic training scenarios, including roadside scenes and real ambulance equipment. Students will also undertake on-the-job training in ambulance centres, operating theatres and other healthcare areas.

If you would like to find out more about the course then please attend our information evening on 29th April in the Faculty of Health at the Ormskirk Campus. You’ll have the chance to speak to the course tutors, ask any questions and find out about driving requirements, the fitness test and CRB/ISA checks which are all part of the application process. You will also be able to discuss the career opportunities available to you upon completion of the course.

If you are unable to attend then please contact our enquiries unit on Freephone 0800 195 5063 or email enquiries@edgehill.ac.uk for further information.
