The Research Exchange Seminars provide an informal forum for short presentations from staff and research students on various topics but usually focusing on their experiences of undertaking research.

The seminar on Tuesday 25th November 2008 takes place in room JD13.

Presentations are as follows:

  • Vicki Coppock (Social & Psychological Sciences) – ‘Children as peer researchers: reflections on a journey of mutual discovery’
  • Graham Rogers (Education) – “What kind of teacher am I expected to be?” Tensions in Initial Teacher Education’
  • Maggi Eastwood (Law & Criminology) – ‘Regulation of Hate Speech and the Rise of Islamaphobia in the UK’
