Sarah Millican

Writer and comic Sarah performed her first stand-up gig in September 2004, and the following year was runner-up in both the Funny Women and So You Think You’re Funny awards, as well as the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2006.  She was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2006 Chortle Awards.

Chris Roche

Oldham comedian Chris Roche’s cheeky tales of growing up, allied to sharp observational and topical humour have been a hit with audiences far and wide.  He has some wonderful examples of how children do not understand sarcasm and some great observations about the complexities of relationships.

Rachel Fairburn

Rachel Fairburn cuts a compelling figure as a sweet, but doom-laden Mancunian, sharing not just an accent, but a whole comedy outlook, with Caroline Aherne.  Her material is fresh and imaginative.

Compere….

Bill Woolland

Bill Woolland is a naturally funny man.  His friendly and easy-going stage presence, coupled with a quick wit, make him a particularly good comedy compere.  He is a Les Dawson Comedy Award Winner.
