The Research Exchange Seminars provide an informal forum for short presentations from staff and research students on various topics but usually focusing on their experiences of undertaking research.

The seminar on Tuesday 17th June 2008 takes place in room JD13.

Presentations are as follows:

  • Linda Dunne, Gill Goddard, Clare Woolhouse (Education) – ‘Mapping the Changes: A critical exploration into the career trajectories of teaching assistants who undertake a Foundation degree’.
  • Claire Penketh (CLTR) – ‘Drawing from observation: A dominant and discriminatory discourse?’
  • Michelle Gledhill (Media) – ‘Product Placement and Gamers’.
