Whether you have just left school or college, are a healthcare assistant or you’d like to enjoy an exciting career – you’ll find that Operating Department Practice is a career route that is in high demand. It’s a rewarding career that involves working together with medical and nursing colleagues in the care of patients before, during and after surgery.
Join us at this open evening at Gateway House in Manchester on 12th June to find out more about our DipHE in Operating Department Practice. You’ll have the chance to talk to our Faculty of Health team about the 3-year programme and find out about welfare and bursaries of at least £6372pa (provided you have a minimum of 3 years’ UK residency and settled status) and discover how you’ll benefit from clinical placements at local hospitals throughout Greater Manchester and Cheshire during the programme.
Courses start in September 2008 and April 2009. If you’ve got a minimum of 5 GCSEs at at grade C or equivalent (or above), NVQ Level 3 in Health or an Access to Health course (or equivalent), we can offer you the opportunity to become a qualified registered practitioner in this area.
There’s no need to book for this drop-in session in advance. For further information, contact our Enquiries Unit on 0800 195 5063 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
