Government HE Policy to and beyond the 2015 General Election 

Policy Unwrapped is a series of termly sessions aimed at those who work in an education setting and is designed to provide an impartial commentary on the purpose and impact of higher education policy. With expert opinion, insightful comment and valuable networking opportunities, Policy Unwrapped is a must for those who want to stay abreast of sector developments and support their students in HE decision making.

This session will be informal and engaging investigating Government Policy to and beyond the 2015 General Election.

Andy Westwood, CEO, Guild HE

Andy has gained extensive experience  from working at the heart of Government HE policy for over a decade,  with a unique insight into Whitehall and the workings of Government and is now a leading voice on HE policy and leading the Mission Group for small and Specialist Higher Education Institutions.

He has written widely on many subjects including vocational education and training, urban policy, welfare to work and is a visiting professor in local economic development at London’s South Bank University, in business at the University of Buckingham and a Research Fellow at the Institute of Education.
