
Filmed in Belfast, Young Plato is a moving documentary about visionary primary school head Kevin McArevey; he draws on classical thinkers to teach creative and innovative ways to challenge violence. The children’s voices are bold and authentic, the film a reminder of the transformational power of education.
The primary school is part of the Faculty of Education’s Northern Ireland partnership. Following the screening, the film’s producer David Rane, will facilitate a discussion.
