Join us for our first Systematic Synthetic Phonics (SSP) Conference, hosted by our SSP Student Ambassadors, Faculty of Education.

The conference will take place on Saturday 27 May 2023, 9.30am – 3.30pm, Edge Hill University (Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine building).

Keynote speaker

Debbie Hepplewhite

Debbie is a leading synthetic phonics expert and author and trainer of 4 DfE-validated phonics programmes.

The day will also include DfE validated SSP programme providers showcasing their resources, and an afternoon of interactive workshops led by our school partners and SSP experts.

Morning refreshments and a buffet lunch will be provided.

We expect that there will be a lot of interest in this conference, so would advise that you book your place early to avoid disappointment. Further details of the day will be provided after booking.
