Edge Hill University’s second year Drama students present Anthony Mortimer’s translation of Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters in Search of an Author, reproduced by arrangement with OUP through PLSclear.
A theatre company’s rehearsals are completely derailed when six mysterious characters enter, seeking someone who can help them to share their story. A remorseful father, a vengeful step-daughter, a mother-in-mourning with her two young children, and an aloof son; each has their own version of events, but who is telling the truth? What is truth? What is reality?
