Come along and meet the team from NWROCU who will be delivering a presentation about the year in industry opportunity that is open to 2nd year students a Edge Hill University.
This opportunity is within the Finance Intelligence Team at NWROCU , the team will give an overview of the role and the department that students will be working within along with the recruitment and vetting process too.
Please note that this opportunity is only open to 2nd year students from the School of Law and Criminal Justice and the Business School

12:00-1:00 – Room THF02/03, Tech Hub
- Edge Hill University has partnered with world-leading commercial and government organisations to offer mentoring to Edge Hill students.
- With a limited number of places on the Employer Mentoring Programme starting in January 2025, you will be assigned a mentor from one of our industry partners.
- Your mentor will guide you through the world of work and help you deal with the challenges of being at university.
- You and your mentor will meet regularly between January 2025 and May 2025 to discuss topics of your choice such as goal setting, building confidence or networking.
- Open to all Edge Hill students studying any degree subject in all year groups.
- If you want a career as a problem solver, a leader, a decision maker, a creator, The Employer Mentoring Programme is for you.

Cyber Bursary Presentation
1:00-2:00 – Room: THF02/03Tech Hub
This talk is a chance to find out about a bursary that is available to Under Grad students. You don’t need to be students a Cyber or even a Computer Science Degree. You could have an interest in Cyber. By coming along you are now signing up to anything it’s simply to find out information and ask any questions.
The Bursary offers undergraduates £4,000 per year financial assistance and paid cyber security training each summer to help kick start their career in cyber
To be eligible for the bursary you must:
- Already be studying an Undergraduate Degree or Integrated Masters in any subject at a UK university
- Have a minimum of 2 years of full time study remaining from September 2025
- Have (or expected to have) attained a minimum 2:1 equivalent at the end of academic year 2024/25

Come and chat with the Careers Team to see what support is available for you whilst you studying at university or if you are a recent graduate. The team can offer support and guide you through the resources and tools to support you to find relevant opportunities and prepare you for the world of work.
You will get a chance to meet with our team within Careers Corner who will be on tour for the day from the Catalyst building, have a chat with the team or they can advise and signpost you how to make an appointment to discuss your career options, CV, placement or any other area using the Careers Vacancy Portal.
Postgraduate Recruitment
Whether you’re interested in postgraduate study with a particular subject or career in mind, to learn new skills or gain fresh insights, or take the next step towards a doctorate award, we can offer you a highly engaging learning experience.
Postgraduate study allows you to develop a deeper knowledge and comprehensive understanding of topics you may have previously studied at undergraduate level or that you are looking to newly explore.

Meet the Student Union Team who can offer advice and support whilst you are a student at Edge Hill University.
