Join us for a fantastic evening of comedy with stars of TV and radio Markus Birdman, Matt Richardson and Funmbi Omotayo.
Markus Birdman is one of Britain’s most travelled stand up comedians, having performed as far afield as Pakistan, Singapore, China, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Spain, Norway, Sweden and India. In demand all over the UK and abroad, he is a veteran of the Edinburgh Festival with eleven solo shows to his credit and is a headliner at the UK’s top comedy clubs.
He’s performed solo shows at the Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth Comedy festivals and was nominated by the New Zealand Comedy Guild for Best International Guest. He’s also had his own Netflix stand up special, Live in Amsterdam.
Matt Richardson is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian and one of the most exciting names on the circuit currently rising through the ranks. Having started stand-up in 2009 at 18 years old, Matt became one of the youngest comedians on the circuit and quickly established himself in all of the major comedy club chains in the UK and has gigged overseas on countless occasions.
Since then Matt has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting young performers and presenters – hosting the drive-time show on Virgin Radio. His TV credits include co-hosting the Xtra Factor alongside Caroline Flack, co-hosting Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live. alongside Christine Lampard, a series regular role on Viral Tap (ITV2), Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Celebrity Juice, Sweat The Small Stuff, Big Brothers Bit on the Side, Fake Reaction, Its Not Me It’s You, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! and countless other shows.
Funmbi Omotayo is a force of nature, a natural comedian who oozes charisma that makes the audience instantly fall in love with him. A circuit headliner who boast a host of awards including Best Newcomer At The Black Comedy Awards, Winner of Amused Moose & Leicester Square Comedian Of The Year. His talents have seen him perform across the globe including Canada, Holland & Germany to name a few. Funmbi has provided tour support for John Bishop and Hal Crutteden, has popped up on ITV, BBC, Comedy Central and Channel 4 and to top it off has performed two shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His TV credits include Play to the whistle (ITV) The John Bishop Show (BBC1), The Comedy Store (Comedy Central).
