A Rush of Laughter Comedy Night
Join us for a fantastic evening of comedy with stars of TV and radio Terry Alderton, Tony Law and Marcel Lucont.
Terry Alderton is one of the most exciting comedians around regularly performing all over the globe. In the last year alone he has played the Melbourne Australia Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, India and Edinburgh Comedy Festival. Terry has been Perrier nominated in Edinburgh and recently won the ‘3 Weeks Critics’ award as well as Best International Act at the New Zealand Comedy Festival. This frequent traveling has meant performing alongside some of comedy’s biggest stars, with Eddie Izzard proclaiming Terry to be a ‘very funny comic with a fantastic comedy mind’.
Tony Law‘s laid back acid casualty approach, combined with scorching jokes and incisive remarks, have endeared him to both live and TV audiences here and abroad. Tony has performed in New York, Aspen, South Africa, Ireland, The Netherlands and in his native Canada. He is a regular face at the UK’s biggest comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store and Jongleurs and The Comedy Club. Tony’s TV credits include The Stand Up Show (BBC1), House of Fun (Meridian) and Does Doug Know? (Channel 4).
Marcel Lucont is without question the greatest UK-based French comedian around. This multi-award-deserving flâneur, raconteur and bon-viveur is currently touring the world, charming women and insulting the stupid. His deadpan stand-up, world-class sex poetry and bawdy chansons have been a huge hit all over Europe, Australasia and America and he has improved many a TV show along the way, including: Set List (Sky Atlantic), Comedy Central At The Comedy Store, The John Bishop Show (BBC1), John Bishop’s Christmas Show (BBC1), and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3).
