In-sessional Support

Introduction

The Language Centre offers English language support to students whose first language is not English. This support aims to help international/EU students during their course by improving both language and skills in order to maximise success in their studies.

We offer English language support classes with a focus on academic reading & writing skills and academic speaking & listening skills. If you wish to have individual advice on an aspect of your writing, we offer a one to one Writing Consultation and you can request an appointment.

In-sessional support classes are free and are available only on a sign-up basis each week. They are open to all international or EU students. They are not open to home students whose first language is English. These students, however, can receive help with their academic skills by attending the UniSkills workshops provided by Learning Services. Please find more information at ehu.ac.uk/uniskills.

Please note that classes may be delivered on campus or online.  You will need to sign up to each class in order to receive details of delivery.
