Payments for placements that have taken place this year are currently being processed.
Due to the current situation, amendments to the way payments are processed has been required. Details of how payments are currently made are below :
Changes to the payment dates:
- Due to secure nature of our financial systems, to ensure the upmost protection of your money and highly sensitive personal data, payments are unable to be made from remote locations.
- Please be assured that emergency measures have been put in place, for exceptional arrangements of payments to be made from onsite however, the frequency of these will reduce to one BACS payment run per month in order to minimise the physical attendance of colleagues who are required to attend campus in order to make these payments.
- The arrangement (all being well) is for BACS payments to be made on the last Friday of each month . Please note that once payments are released by BACS transfer, they can then take up to 3 working days to reach your account, depending on your bank/ building society. Realistically, this means that payments made on this date will likely be received on or around Tuesday following the payment release date.
- Settings who are normally paid by Cheque rather than BACS, should be aware that additional delays may apply due to the need for Edge Hill University to reduce any increased risk during this time. We would therefore recommend that to expedite payment that you make arrangements to be paid by BACS instead of Cheque.
