Knowledge Exchange expert in running for industry award

Edge Hill University’s Director of Knowledge Exchange, Professor Jo Crotty, is a finalist in the esteemed PraxisAuril KE Awards 2023 for Professional of the Year.

The industry awards celebrate the people, partnerships and creativity which underpin the UK’s knowledge exchange activity.

Professor Crotty’s nomination is in recognition of her work to go above and beyond what is expected in her day-to-day role to contribute to the development of the profession.

Edge Hill University is on a journey of growth within knowledge exchange and has invested in the creation of a new team and ambitious strategy to support communities, partnerships and the wider economy.

Being shortlisted reflects the hard work and dedication that Professor Crotty has put in to championing and developing knowledge exchange at the University.

Professor George Talbot, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange, said:

“I’m delighted that Professor Crotty’s commitment to going above and beyond in her role has been recognised and she is a finalist in these prestigious industry awards.

“This reflects the exceptional dedication, hard work, creativity and leadership that she has provided at the start of our exciting knowledge exchange journey.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on 23 November.

The news follows on from the University’s recent KEF3 results, reflecting the growth ambitions, expertise and talent of its people.
