Biography

Teaching Experience:

1993-2009: Early Years and Key Stage 1 teacher at three different primary schools in Nottingham and Warrington.

Responsibilities included:

  • Member of senior management team
  • Key stage 1 leader in two schools
  • Leading maths teacher
  • Assessment co-ordinator
  • Staff development co-ordinator
  • Mentor for teaching students and NQTs
  • Member of Nottingham City Education development team working on Learning through play project
  • Maths co-ordinator and responsibility for implementing National Numeracy Strategy

2009-2015: Specialist Inclusion Teacher for children with Autism for Lancashire Education Authority: Inclusion and Disability Service
