Paul is Senior Lecturer on a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate education courses.

Paul is currently pursuing a PhD. His current research interests are student engagement within higher education, reflective writing for practitioners and the development of resilience within learners.
Prior to joining Edge Hill, Paul lectured at Leeds Beckett University and managed a SCITT for a large private provider.
Paul has worked in the UK and overseas in a variety of roles including school start up, school improvement and senior leadership positions.
Knowledge Transfer and Enterprise
Paul has collaborated on a number of external projects with third sector organisations. He has been involved as a volunteer educational consultant on a number of projects within the Merseyside region.
His latest partnership work has involved the launch of an accredited mental health qualification for students on the BA (Hons) Children and Young People’s Learning and Development Programme.
Paul is an external examiner for Birmingham City University.
