An ten week introductory course to running. The first session will provide information on the course, advice and tips on running and an opportunity to ask any questions; you will not be required to take part in any form of physical activity on the first week.
The second session will involve physical activity; including brisk walking and short 60-second breaks of running building up slowly week-by-week to achieve 30 minutes of running in week ten.
Couch to 5K Introduction Course
Free with any paid membership. Membership upgrades available upon completion of the course.
Payments to be made at the Edge Hill Sport reception desk or over the phone.
Participants on the Couch to 5K programme have an opportunity to take part in a research project on recreational runners, in which you will get access to the course FREE of charge.
