Get Active

Our Get Active programme is our recreational sport offer within Campus Sport.

What Activities Are Available?

The Get Active programme provides a wide variety of regular recreational sports for you to choose from. These include Badminton, Netball, Football, Couch to 5K etc.

There really is something for everyone so we encourage you to participate and try out a range of activities regardless of your ability.

We aim to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere that is inclusive to all.

What Do I Need to Take Part?

The Get Active programme is free of charge to all Edge Hill Sport paying members and only costs between £1.00 and £3.00 per session for all others.

Wear what you feel comfy in (as long as the coaches say it is safe to do so). Then, you just turn up at the activity– it’s simple!

You can turn up and attend a session once or go back to the session every week; it is up to you. It is a great way to try new sports and keep healthy.

Equipment is provided and available to use at each session.
