Appendix 18 – Operation of Criminal Conviction Panels: 2016-17

Part of: Academic Regulations > Academic Regulations 2016-17 > Appendices 2016-17

Detail

Edge Hill’s Academic Regulations stipulate that any student who is being investigated for or is convicted of a criminal offence during their programme of study must declare this in writing to the Academic Registrar. This will enable the University to make arrangements to assess whether or not there is any risk associated with the continued registration of the individual concerned. Appendix 18 provides details on the procedures to be followed when considering such cases.

Surprising Terms

A criminal conviction may prevent admission to or continued registration on an Edge Hill University programme.
