Facilities Management is pleased to announce that from June 2022, all EHU students and colleagues will now be able to nominate FM Staff for an FM Star Award.

We believe that recognition of a job well done is a vital part of our working practices, which is why we created FM Stars. This is our staff recognition scheme which we use to appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into creating a safe, secure and vibrant campus environment to live, work, study and play.
FM Stars runs throughout the year on a bi-monthly cycle and nominations open for a calendar month at a time. The cycles for 2021-22 are September, November, February, April, June and August.
How it works
Identify which FM Value your FM Star has best demonstrated and submit a nomination via our form:Nomination form
At the end of the month, all nomination will be collated and and put forward to a randomly selected committee of staff for review.
FM Stars Selection Committee
The panel will meet and review each nomination against the FM Values. Five winners will be selected, one per Value.
Each winner will receive a certificate of recognition, gold FM Stars pin and a £20 LoveToShop voucher. Once they have been informed, this will be announced via email and across social media.
FM celebration event
At the end of the year, all nominations will be tallied and put forward for consideration at our annual FM Celebration Event held in December.
Each and every team has an important and unique impact on students and staff across the university. If you know someone who has had a positive impact on your experience, this is a great opportunity to say thank you and give them some formal recognition.
