Nursing

Nursing is an extremely challenging, rewarding and unique profession that involves a diverse range of skills and attributes, including being able to work independently and as part of a multi-professional team.

A student nursing associate examines a drip while using the clinical skills facilities.

As a registered Nursing there is a wide choice of career destinations ranging from hospitals to community, teaching and research, specialist roles, and management. Graduates from our programme enjoy excellent employment opportunities working within the North West, throughout the UK, and abroad.

We offer four fields of Pre-Registration Nursing, all approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The Faculty has been commended by the Quality Assurance Agency for the quality of teaching and learning, student progression and learning resources.
