English Language Development course
This English Language Development course is for closed groups of students and aims to improve students’ English language skills and their ability to speak fluently and accurately. Students will improve their writing, reading and listening skills but the major focus will be on speaking skills.
We will ask about students’ English language levels before they join the course (see entry requirements) but we will also provide a short assessment at the start of the course to check your current level.
Students will have a series of assessments throughout the course to measure their progress. You will receive a report which can be sent or collected, and a certificate of attendance on completion.
This course also aims to introduce students to life in the UK, our customs and traditions. Classes will focus on different aspects of British culture.

Course duration and dates
There are various course start dates depending on the time of year. The duration of courses vary each term. The table below shows all possible start dates for our English Language Development courses:

Please note that teaching will not take place on the following public holidays: 2 May 2022, 2 and 3 June 2022.
