Something might be in the news one day and in your lecture the next, so you are learning how real businesses are operating right now.

I’d always wanted to study business so a lot of things about this course immediately appealed to me. The interesting modules, a campus close to home and good recommendations from friends.

The University is modern and has excellent facilities. The Hub, the library, computers, and classrooms are all close together and very easy to access. I originally thought I’d come to the campus for classes and then go home, but I’m spending more and more time here.

Like the campus, my course is up to date. Something might be in the news one day and in your lecture the next, so you are learning how real businesses are operating right now. You also get the historical background as well, so understand how it all fits together.

The range of modules is impressive. You cover numerous things including marketing, sales, logistics and accountancy so while I’m not sure which area of business I want to go into once I graduate, I’m confident that I’ll have the skills I need. I’ve especially enjoyed the operations management module and learning about supply chains and logistics has been really interesting.

I wasn’t sure if university was going to be for me, but it has been very easy to fit in. We do a lot of group work during seminars and, as we’re a small group, we’ve got to know each other really well. Presenting to the class has become easy and I’ve even found that I like organising our teams.

Lecture topics are discussed in your seminars, which makes it easy to understand subjects thoroughly. If you are struggling, there is help available. We are always being told by tutors to get in touch with them if we need any help and they always get right back to you.
