Fin has been a senior public relations professional in the NHS for the last 20 years, including 12 years as Director of Communications at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Fin, an Accredited Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, has worked in both the acute and the community sectors.
After gaining a Law Degree with Honours in Forensic Medicine from Glasgow University, Fin qualified as a journalist and spent a decade as a senior reporter or news editor in newspapers around the UK. He then moved into public relations, working in the private and public sectors at senior levels.
Fin has special interests in crisis communications and working with the media, and is a visiting lecturer at Edge Hill University. He joined the Board in 2018 and sits on Resources Committee.
