Bio

Junyuan Wang is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science. She received her BSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University, Xi’an, China, in 2010, and the PhD degree in Electronic Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2015. She was a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Kent, U. K.

Her research is on modelling, performance analysis and algorithm design of wireless communication systems, with special interests in machine learning for wireless communications, massive MIMO, distributed antenna systems/cloud radio access networks (C-RAN). She was a co-recipient of the Best Student Paper Award at IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference (VTC), Spring, 2017.
