Study Abroad

The Department offers a number of teaching and research opportunities for both incoming and outgoing students through our international links and in collaboration with our International Department. The Computer Science Department encourages students to study or work abroad to enhance their CV’s and employability prospects. The main way in which study abroad facilitate students to fulfil their ambitions is through ERASMUS+ or through other bespoke arrangements with our partners:

  • AMET (Academy of Maritime Education and Training)
  • ETH Zurich
  • University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland

The ERASMUS+ Programme is a European funding programme established in 1987 offering university students a possibility of studying or doing an internship abroad in another country for a period of at least 2 months and maximum 12 months per cycle of studies. ERASMUS+ now offers the possibility to go way beyond the European borders as well.

The Computer Science Department has close links with:

  • Ayudin University, Turkey
  • University of Salerno, Italy
  • Institute of Technology Warsaw, Poland
  • Saxion UAS, Netherlands
  • Oldenburg University, Germany
  • Technical University of Crete, Greece
