‘Communicating Lily’s Pain’ was developed with parents of children who have profound cognitive impairment and complex health needs. This resource aims to help parents and health professionals assess pain in children like Lily. This resource has been endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing.
Our resource is free to download and use. It is made up of:
- an information sheet for parents to help them assess their child’s pain
- an information sheet for health professionals to help them assess pain
- a short animation for parents, health professionals and other people interested in understanding more about how parents and professionals can work together better.
