A 30 minute appointment with a Careers Adviser. During this discussion we can help you with anything related to your career options and finding a graduate job. This includes:
- Help with deciding on your future career.
- What you can do with your degree.
- Postgraduate study options.
- Feedback on an application or support with writing your CV/covering letter.
- Preparation for an interview or assessment centre.
- How to apply for teacher training including PGCEs.
Part-Time and Summer Work
A 20 minute appointment with our Employment Adviser Katharine about part-time jobs, on campus jobs, or summer work.
Interested in volunteering? Book a 20 minute appointment with one of our Volunteering Advisers about the different volunteering opportunities available.
Student Opportunity Fund
A chance to discuss your application for the Student Opportunity Fund. This appointment is suitable for current students thinking of putting forward an application for the Student Opportunity Fund, or to get feedback on an application you have written. This appointment is not suitable for recipients of the fund.
Follow up appointment for students who have received funding from the student opportunity fund and wish to discuss their career plans with a Careers Adviser. This appointment is not suitable for students who are interested in applying for funding but haven’t yet submitted an application.
Additional Careers Support (Widening Participation)
A 30 minute private appointment with our Employment Adviser, Kelly. You may discuss any issues, potential barriers to paid work or other work experience, and get advice on the best Careers action plan for you.
A 30 minute appointment with our Employment Adviser to help you with your CV or covering letter for a placement or internship.
