Postgraduate Research (PGR)

The School currently has a well-developed PhD programme and a strong research culture with a thriving community of research students. A new research programme of Professional Doctorate in Emergency Services Management, the first one in Britain, has been successfully running since September 2017. We also offer an MRes in Critical Management.

Staff are experienced researchers and have forged extensive network of research links both within Britain and abroad. The Business School works closely with practitioners and professionals from across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Staff also have strong links with professional and accreditation bodies. The School has a strong Professoriate to support and guide the students.
