Business School Accountancy

A degree in accountancy is a step on the path to becoming a professionally qualified accountant or a gateway to a career in business.

The aim of this course is to enable you to succeed as a graduate in the competitive world of business. Our degrees are designed with your professional examination exemption and employability in mind.

  • Immerse yourself in the principles, theories and concepts that inform and underpin current accountancy practice and financial management.
  • Gain exemptions from the main accountancy professional bodies ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, AIA and CIPFA.
  • Receive formal recognition of your IT skills with advanced ICDL and Sage certificates.

Placing accounting within a management and finance context, this degree will develop your understanding of how organisations operate and increase your employability and commercial awareness through practical work experience. Right from undergraduate level, you can choose to study in an area of interest such as accountancy or business and economics.
